The Union Mosaic Industry Plc (UMI) reported as follows:
1. The board is to propose shareholders' meeting to consider about
paying no dividend payment for the operating performance ending December
31, 1996.
2. To schedule the 1/1997 shareholders' meeting in Tuesday, April 29,
1997 at its conference room on 29th floor, Chamnarnpenchart Building
Business Center, Rama IX, Huay Kwang, Bangkok at 10.00 O'clock having
agendas as follows:
Agenda 1 To approve the 1/1996 shareholders' meeting report.
Agenda 2 To consider the 1996 operating performance.
Agenda 3 To approve annualaudited balance sheet and profit and
loss statement ending December 1996.
Agenda 4 To approve allocation of profit and pay dividend.
Agenda 5 To appoint new directors to replace those expired.
Agenda 6 To appoint the auditor for 1997 and determine compensation.
Agenda 7 To consider other issues (if any).
3. To schedule the closing date of registration book for the right to
atten the 1/1997 shareholders' meeting at 12.00 O'clock in April 4, 1997
until the meeting is over.
