Subject: Clarification of Operating Results of the Company and Subsidiaries
for the 3rd Quarter of the Year 2005

The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited has submitted the
company's consolidated Financial Statement for the period of 3 months and 9
months as ended September 30th, 2005, reviewed by certified auditor including
an explanation on the differences of operating results. The company reported
the revenue from sales of 632.7 million Baht an increase of 5.1 percent from
the same period of the previous year of 601.8 million Baht. The net profit
of 7.9 million Baht a decrease of 40.4 million Baht from the same period of
the previous year of 48.3 million Baht, due mainly to the following matters:
1. The cost of good sold is of 540.1 million Baht, which is an increase
of 12.3 percent from the same period of the previous year. And it is
in according to the proportional increase of sales and the increasing
of the price of raw materials and energy especially natural gas.
2. The selling and administrative expense is of 88.6 million Baht,
which is an increase of 5.0 percent from the same period of the
previous year. It is from the result of the increase in oil price
in transportation cost.
3. The interest expense is of 16.8 million Baht, which is an increase of
83.0 percent from the same period of the previous year. It is from
the increase of interest rate and fund to support the expansion of
production capacity.
