Subject : Clarification of Operating Results of the Company and Subsidiaries
for the 2nd quarter of 2010

The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited has submitted the
company's consolidated Financial Statements for the three - month ended as at
June 30, 2010 which were reviewed by certified auditor. The results of operating
of Q2/2010 compared to those in Q2/2009 are as followings:

The significant changes of operating result of Q2/2010 compared to
results of Q2/2009 are as follows:
1. Revenue from sales for Q2/2010 was increased by 17.5% which was
a success in research and development of high-value-added
product, which resulted in higher average selling price.
2. An improvement in efficiency of production resulted in lower loss
rate, which also lower production cost while energy price was
increasing.
3. Finance costs for 2010 was decreased by 31%, compared to those
of 2009 due to policy in cash saving, resulted in paying back
short-term loan and Long-term loan more than as scheduled.
