We, The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited have sent you the company's financial
Statement for the third quarter ended September 30,2002 that have been reviewed by the Certified
Public Accountant.
We would like to make an additional explanation as follows:
1.The net sales were increase 13.66% as compared with the same period of the previous year. The
economics are still in difficulty with high competition situation.
2. The percentage of cost of goods sold and net sales were decrease by 2.41% as compared with the
same period of the last year.
3. The percentage of administrative expenses, marketing expenses and net sales were decrease by
0.88% as compared with the same period of the previous year.
4. This period present losses on exchange rate amount 43,751,336.24 Baht.
