We, The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited have sent you the company's financial
Statement for the first quarter ended March 31,2003 that have been reviewed by the Certified
Public Accountant.
We would like to make an additional explanation as follows:
1.The net sales were decrease 4% compared with the same period of the previous year. The
inventories carried over were less than the last year and the capacity was the same
2.The cost of production was lower, compare with the same period of the last year. The company
has the policy to decrease the cost of production, expenses and increase the productivity.
3.The Administrative and selling expense were increase compare with the same period of the last
year.
4.As discussed in No 1-3, if excluding the gain of exchange the company's performance has
shown much decreasing in loss as compared with the last year.
