Subject : Clarification of Operation Result of the Company for the Year 2004

The Office of Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand.
The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited ("the Company")
has submitted the Company's Financial Statement for the year 2004 as ended
December 31st, 2004, reviewed by certified auditor including an explanation
on the differences of operation result. The Company reported the revenue
from sales of 2,188 million Baht an increase of 5.9 percent from the same
period of the previous year of 2,066 million Baht. The profit from ordinary
operation was 110.9 million Baht a decrease of 25.5 million Baht from the
same period of the previous year of 136.4 million Baht, due mainly to
the following matters.
1. The cost of good sold was 1,779 million Baht, which has been
increased by 8.4 percent from the same period of the previous
year and it was increased according to the proportional increase
of sales and the increasing of the price of raw materials and
energy especially natural gas.
2. The selling and administrative expense was 324 million Baht, which
has been increased by 12 percent from the same period of the
previous year and it was results from production testing expense
and advertising expense to support the production expansion.
