Subject : Notification about the Work Stoppage by UMI Labor Union Saraburi.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)
The Union Mosaic Industry Public Company Limited ("The Company")
would like to inform that UMI Labor Union Saraburi, which is the labor union
of the Company has arranged the strike by stopping to work from November 22nd,
2006 as to force the demand for the annual compensation by the workers to the
Company. For this demand, the Labor Union can not reach the agreement with the
Company, because the Company is still facing loss from the operation so it will
not be appropriated to comply. And this work stoppage is especially come from
the workers at only operational level. When these workers have informed the
Company about their intention to stop working, the Company has to cease the
operation and stop hiring. In order to improve on the situation and to decrease
the impact of this work stoppage, the Company has set up the negotiation team to
hold the meeting with the Labor Union to find the solution as soon as possible.
